"All the World"

When one thinks of evangelism and the world of needs for the Gospel, what are your opinions/biblical beliefs on where, let's say Americans, should evangelize? With the corruptness of our own community, should we stay with in "ourself" and evangelize? Should we leave it to the natives because they are more effective (no walls of language and culture to cross)? Or should we let the Koreans pick up the torch (which they already have) that we've dropped and just send our money, since we are recognized as the richest country on earth? What are your convictions on the duty we have as Christains to further the Gospel?

I don't think we should just lump ourselves into one category as far as missions are concerned. God is going to call each individual into the type of ministry He desires for them, and if they follow that call than their is nothing greater they can do.

I really dislke using labels like "Americans" or "missions" because I think their limiting. I know I don't define myself as an American, or Korean Christians as Korean, but rather we are all part of the body of Christ. You could say our whole life is a "mission", and there is just as much an opportunity to serve others in our everyday lives as ther is on a missions trip. I think the former is the more diffacult for Christians.

i understand i'm making some gross generalities, so bear with me. it just brought alot of questions when i read about one indian missionary to asia (k.p. yohanna- president of gospel for asia) who saw american missionaries as a hinderance in india. in all that the greatest thing we could do was pray and send money, because the natives were better off evangelizing themeselves.

i understood his point and he had alot of support to his arguement, but it didn't seem all that Biblical.
NOTE: "Revoltion in World Missions" is a great book, if your interested in being a sender, but from my experiance, it stiffled my fire for being on the mission field.
