Frisbee Frenzy!

By now you've probably noticed that during our lunch period a band of idyllic youths have taken to tossing the old pie tin around the field. I am proud to be on of them. The merits of frisbee are the level of difficulty presented coupled with unmatched grace of a successful throw. I would laud Ultimate Frisbee as the activity of choice for Field Day, and if any of you concur, please say so.

Yes, those old frisbee memories do strike a chord. Good to hear from you Derek, you haven't been on for a while.

This is what I think we should do for Field Day. Ahead of time have secondary students sign up to play. Then organize them into teams (whoever gets Smitty will be the odds on favorite). Then we seed a double elimination tournament and let the games begin. I also nominate Aaron Hansen as Master of Music (cause tunes and frisbee were made for each other).

definately need some tunes to pump up the game...marty, see if we can play anything but classical!!! cuban? what might also spice it up is have half time team cheers and then at the end award the winners of the game and best team spirit. we need to get as many people involoved too!

Smash mouth would make good frisbee music I think. Especially the Astrolounge album, since (and I am NOT making this up, to quote Dave Barry) it is officially the all-time greatest CD to yo-yo to to, and there are many parallels between frisbeeing and yo-yoing, I think.

That sounds like a good idea. No costco hotdogs. Yay!

Hey Aaron, I heard you were sick. How are you feeling? My sister has the same thing. Not good.

Zombo Com is simply a page saying essentially "Welcome". No real point. Check out www.obmoz.com. Same thing, but it's better.
