We at Veritas all have our favorite little expressions and coined phrases, some particular highlights that I have noticed in the past few days are (the author(s) will remain unknown) "Bean City" "Beans on a platter" and "Beans with rice on the side". Listen for these phrases, and others, in class for the next few weeks. Please share some of your own personal favorites (as you see appropriate), and explain how you came to use them and what they mean to you, or in what instances they are to be used.

Have you ever come upon a word and the sound of it rolling off your tongue touched you in an unexplainable way? You gleefully attempt to sprinkle it in your daily conversations, giving your sentances a new inhancement. The true exposture to this word came while writing up a chemistry lab sitting out on the sunny boardwalk.
It may have been the sun, but as far as i'm concerned, the word "crucible" brings that delightful tickle to the ears. One can use this in every occation.
For joyful affirmation: "That's totally crucible"
For an interjection: "Crucible" (or may be shortened to "cruc")

This phrase isn't in circulation anymore, but I'll always remember Ben's "cha-chingy-mingy", his signature call for a made basket.
